POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN MANAGEMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Philosophy

The PGD programme is a Bridge between lower performances in the same field of study or between different fields other than Management Sciences to prepare individuals for higher career achievement.

Objectives

  1. To salvage those students in the same field of study who for some reasons beyond their control earned grades below second Class honours.

  2. To help accommodate all candidates coming from different fields of study.

  3. To prepare candidates with aspirations for higher career achievement and professionalism.

 

Requirements & Duration

  1. Candidates for PGD Business Administration are required to possess a first Degree in any of these: Business Administration, Accounting, Banking and Finance, Marketing, Public Administration, Industrial Relations, or any of the Social Sciences with CGPA of not less than 2.0 may be considered.

  2. Holders of a first Degree in other courses different from management Sciences with minimum of Third Class Division may be considered.

  3. Higher National Diploma with minimum of Pass in Business Administration and Management related courses.

  4. Higher National Diploma with minimum of Pass in other areas like Hotel Management, Secretarial Studies and other fields of studies may be considered.

 

Duration

Minimum of 2 semesters and maximum of 4 semesters
